Completed in December 2010, this is one of nine standalone Paperchase stores that Wingate Design Partnership has worked on in the UAE, mainly in Dubai, with two in Abu Dhabi. We have also worked on 11 concessions. The stores are in the following malls, Dubai Metro Link station (Mall of the Emirates), Festival City and Sharja City.
We work with local contractors and Paperchase’s partners in the region, Al Maya Group, and oversee the site works in exactly the same way that we do in the UK, with regular site visits. The design programme continues with more stores planned for Abu Dhabi.

We designed three Paperchase stores in the US, when it was part of the Borders group; Penn Plaza concession in New York City and stores in Boston and Glendale CA.
In Europe, outlets in Denmark are concessions within Magasin stores in Copenhagen, Lingby and Ahus and in Holland, within DeBijenkorf stores in The Hague, Amsterdam, Arnhem, Utrecht and Amstelveen. Paperchase stores in Amsterdam South station and Arnhem station are already open, with a further one planned for Utrecht.
