A Grade II Listed building where we went right back to the shell to get the most from the space, even stripping away the column casings.
We had to introduce a new fire escape at the rear, which we took to the left side of the shop front, to mirror the right side, which is the entrance to a Chinese restaurant on the first floor.

We also moved the shop front to sit better with the architecture. In another design development, the external sign changes colour.
