Completed in the spring of 2010, this concept room is a new direction for Paperchase. The Mezzanine is where high value, limited run and unusual items have a showcase and the design and the bespoke nature of the quality fittings reflect the product on show.
There is a lot of detail and precision engineering using wood, glass and metals and it is amazing how much structure there is behind the plaster walls that keep the wall mounted glass cubes in place.

We designed everything from the sleek cabinets to the one-off wallpaper and the hand woven rug and we even managed to install our first hidden door in a bookcase, an art form usually just seen in stately homes these days.
